Our client is a leading commercial construction and fit-out contractor. With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects, they are looking for a motivated Graduate HSQE Coordinator to join their growing team.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a recent graduate in Construction Management, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering or a related discipline to develop practical experience across health, safety, quality and environmental systems while working alongside experienced industry professionals.

About the Role:
Reporting to the HSEQ Manager, you'll gain hands-on experience supporting projects across Melbourne. You'll split your time between the inner northern suburbs office and active construction sites, learning every aspect of HSEQ in a fast-paced commercial construction environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with site safety inspections and audits
  • Support incident investigations and corrective actions
  • Help prepare compliance reports and project documentation
  • Coordinate site inductions for employees and subcontractors
  • Maintain safety systems and project registers
  • Assist with risk assessments and Safe Work Method Statements
  • Support ISO and OFSC audit preparation
  • Learn to monitor HSEQ compliance across multiple projects
  • Build strong relationships with site teams and subcontractors
About You:
  • Recent graduate in Cert IV WHS, Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline
  • Passion for commercial construction and workplace safety
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
  • Ability to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Current Victorian Driver's Licence (or ability to obtain one)
Previous construction experience through internships, work placements or casual site work will be highly regarded but is not essential.

Please note: This role is approximately 50% office-based and 50% site-based. Regular travel to Melbourne project sites is required, with occasional regional Victoria visits.
