Our client is a highly respected commercial construction and fit-out contractor with a Victorian turnover exceeding $100 million. Known for delivering quality projects and maintaining high professional standards, they are seeking an HSQE Coordinator to support safety, quality and compliance across multiple projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career WHS professional looking to broaden their experience across site safety, audits, systems, compliance and project support.

About the Role
Reporting to the HSQE Manager, you'll split your time between their inner northern suburbs office and active construction sites across Melbourne, supporting project teams to maintain strong safety and compliance outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site safety inspections and audits
• Support incident investigations and corrective actions
• Prepare reports and compliance documentation
• Maintain safety systems including HammerTech
• Coordinate inductions for employees and subcontractors
• Assist with ISO and OFSC audit preparation
• Monitor HSQE compliance across multiple projects
• Support project teams with risk assessments and safety documentation
• Manage observations, actions and compliance registers

About You

• Certificate IV in WHS (minimum)
• 2-4 years' experience in construction, fit-out or a related industry
• Experience supporting audits, compliance and safety systems
• Familiarity with HammerTech, OneBreadcrumb or similar platforms
• Strong organisational and administration skills
• Confident communicator who can influence stakeholders on safety matters
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented and quick to learn

Experience with ISO management systems, Procore or OFSC accreditation will be highly regarded.

Please note: This role is approximately 50% office-based and 50% site-based. Regular travel to Melbourne project sites is required, with occasional regional Victoria visits.
