As the Senior Safety Advisor for NSW, you’ll partner with frontline leaders, coach operational teams and shape safer, healthier working environments across the state. You’ll operate locally, backed by a nationally connected HSW function that values consistency, collaboration and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Own

• Shape and influence health, safety and wellbeing practices across multiple operational sites
• Coach leaders to build capability and embed a mature safety culture
• Deliver targeted training, toolbox talks and engagement sessions (2 to 3 site visits weekly)
• Lead risk assessments, incident reviews and proactive safety initiatives
• Support audits, assurance activities and continuous improvement projects
• Provide pragmatic, solutions-focused advice that frontline teams can actually use

What You’ll Bring

• Cert IV in WHS (or higher qualifications welcomed)
• Solid understanding of HSW legislation and practical risk management
• Experience in fast-paced operational environments
• Strong interpersonal skills — able to influence, guide and challenge respectfully
