Health and Safety Manager

You’ll report directly to the Executive Director and lead a small but capable team, with the mandate to strengthen safety performance and drive a proactive, organisation-wide safety culture.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Leading health & safety strategy, systems and compliance across the organisation
- Driving incident prevention through data, audits and risk-based thinking
- Overseeing emergency management, business continuity and security functions
- Managing workplace injury and return-to-work programs
- Influencing leaders and stakeholders to lift safety capability and accountability
- Reporting at the executive and board level on performance, risks and initiatives
What we’re looking for:
- Proven leadership experience in health & safety within a complex environment
- Strong working knowledge of OHS legislation, risk management and audit processes
- Experience leading incident investigations and driving corrective outcomes
- Background in emergency management and/or business continuity (highly regarded)
- Ability to influence, challenge, and partner with senior stakeholders
- Tertiary qualifications in Health & Safety or a related discipline
