About the Role
We are seeking an experienced HSW Partner to lead workplace safety improvements across varied operational environments. Reporting to the HSW Regional Manager, you’ll partner with leaders to implement safety strategy, manage compliance and reduce risk.

Your role will be hands-on, combining site visits, audits, incident investigations, training delivery and coaching to build capability in the leadership teams. You'll also manage regulatory reporting for notifiable incidents and ensure consistent application of safety frameworks.

This role suits someone from people-focused industries, such as healthcare, aged care, or retail, where empathy, communication and care come naturally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deploy HSW programs, policies and critical risk control initiatives
  • Provide specialist coaching to frontline leaders based on local risk context
  • Support delivery of the HSW Strategic Roadmap
  • Lead incident and hazard investigations, including notifiable reporting to regulators
  • Conduct safety audits, data analysis, inspections, task observations and risk assessments
  • Strengthen compliance against HSW legislation, ISO 45001, industry and internal standards
  • Deliver training to uplift safety awareness and competence
  • Assist with complex investigations alongside senior stakeholders or external specialists
  • Monitor and report on HSW performance trends and critical risks
Skills & Experience
  • Min. Diploma in OHS or equivalent tertiary qualification
  • Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and risk management
  • ISO 45001, ICAM, or Cert IV in Training & Assessment (desirable)
  • 5+ years' experience in safety leadership roles
  • Proven ability to influence and partner with operational teams
  • Experience in healthcare, warehousing, or distribution environments is advantageous
