Reporting to the Safety Manager, you will provide practical HSE support to project teams, helping maintain safe working environments, manage contractor compliance and continuously improve safety practices.
This role offers a good mix of site visits, stakeholder engagement and HSE systems support.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site inspections, audits and safety observations.
- Monitor contractor safety performance and compliance.
- Review risk assessments, SWMS and safety documentation.
- Support incident investigations and corrective actions.
- Assist with HSE reporting, systems and continuous improvement.
- Engage with project managers, contractors and site teams.
- Deliver safety inductions and toolbox talks as required.
- Minimum 3 years' HSE experience in construction, infrastructure or similar industries.
- Certificate IV (min.) or Diploma in WHS.
- Sound knowledge of Australian WHS legislation.
- Experience with contractor management, audits and incident investigations.
- ICAM or equivalent investigation training.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Current White Card and driver's licence.
- Sydney-based position with hybrid working arrangements.
