We are seeking an experienced and proactive HSEQ Advisor to start immediately on a short-term contract, supporting marine construction projects across South Australia. This position is crucial in ensuring that safety standards and compliance are maintained in a high-risk, multi-site environment that involves heavy plant, cranes, and marine infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Facilitate and record daily pre-starts across sites
Maintain and update site safety noticeboards
Conduct regular safety inspections and audits
Record, investigate, and close out incidents using SkyTrust
Provide practical HSEQ support to operational teams
Promote a strong safety culture and compliance across projects

Required Experience

Prior experience as an HSEQ Advisor in high-risk construction or infrastructure environments
Strong knowledge of heavy plant, crane operations, and site safety requirements
Familiarity with SkyTrust or similar safety management systems
Ability to work independently across multiple locations
Excellent communication and reporting skills

Desirable Attributes

A background in marine or civil construction is an advantage
Cert IV or Diploma in WHS (or equivalent)
Lead/ICAM Investigator qualifications and incident investigation experience are highly regarded.
Adaptable, hands-on approach with strong initiative and problem-solving skills
