An established and highly regarded construction contractor is seeking an experienced HSEQ Advisor to support a portfolio of complex, high-risk infrastructure projects across South Australia.
This is a hands-on operational role where you’ll be on the ground, working directly with project teams, influencing safe work practices, leading investigations, and driving continuous improvement across health, safety, environment and quality.

The Role:
Reporting into the HSEQ leadership team, you will play a critical role supporting operational teams to maintain high safety and compliance standards across active project sites.
Key responsibilities include:
- Facilitating daily pre-starts and toolbox meetings
- Conducting site inspections, audits and safety observations
- Managing hazard identification and corrective actions
- Investigating incidents and near misses using ICAM methodology
- Maintaining HSEQ records and reporting through SkyTrust
- Supporting environmental and quality compliance requirements
- Providing practical HSEQ advice to project teams and subcontractors
- Driving safety improvements and promoting strong site engagement
- Proven experience as a HSEQ Advisor in construction, infrastructure, civil or heavy industry
- Strong knowledge of high-risk work environments, including heavy plant and crane operations
- Formal ICAM Investigation qualifications and practical investigation experience
- Experience with SkyTrust or similar HSEQ management systems
- Certificate IV or Diploma in WHS
- Strong understanding of WHS legislation and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work autonomously across multiple project locations
- Lead Auditor qualification (ISO 45001, ISO 14001 or ISO 9001)
- First Aid qualifications
- Experience in large-scale infrastructure or civil projects
