RTW Specialist

- 3-month part-time contract (2-3 days per week / 5-day fortnight)

About the Role
Reporting to the Health & Safety Manager, you'll manage a portfolio of workplace and non-work-related injury claims while providing expert advice on return to work obligations and best practice. You'll partner with managers across multiple sites to facilitate safe, timely and sustainable return to work outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage WorkCover claims from notification through to successful return to work
- Develop and monitor Return to Work Plans
- Liaise with injured workers, treating practitioners, insurers and rehabilitation providers
- Coach managers on injury management and legislative obligations
- Participate in insurer claims reviews and stakeholder meetings
- Monitor RTW performance and maintain accurate claims records
- Support continuous improvement of injury management processes and documentation
You will bring:
- Previous experience managing WorkCover claims and Return to Work programs
- A current WorkSafe RTW Coordinator qualification (or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of the Victorian WorkCover system and WIRC Act
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- The ability to work autonomously while building strong relationships across the business
- Allied Health, Occupational Rehabilitation or insurer experience will be highly regarded.
