This entry-level role plays an important part in supporting the administration, coordination and continuous improvement of safety and sustainability systems across multiple locations.
Working closely with experienced safety professionals, you will assist with systems management, training coordination, incident investigations and reporting processes. The role offers strong exposure to both operational and corporate environments, providing a solid foundation for a career in safety, sustainability or environmental management.
You will also gain practical experience working with electronic safety systems, sustainability data and compliance reporting while developing investigation and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain safety and sustainability registers, documentation and system records
- Support incident, hazard and near-miss reporting and investigations
- Assist with root cause analysis and corrective action tracking
- Coordinate training records, inductions and compliance documentation
- Support internal audits, reporting processes and system improvements
- Assist with data validation and sustainability reporting metrics
- Provide system support to managers and operational teams across sites
- Recent degree in Work Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Sustainability or similar
- Strong computer literacy and confidence working with systems and databases
- Close attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work across different locations
- Curiosity, initiative and a genuine interest in safety and sustainability
- Current driver's licence and willingness to travel regionally
