WHS Manager
Lead workplace safety across a growing organisation. Opportunity to influence culture and drive continuous improvement.
- Hybrid - WFH, Sites and office.
- Preferably located in Melbourne's Western suburbs.
- Travel interstate required monthly.
This is an opportunity to join a growing organisation where safety is a genuine business priority. Working closely with operational leaders, project teams and senior management, you'll provide both strategic direction and hands-on support to strengthen safety culture, ensure legislative compliance and drive continuous improvement across multiple projects and operational sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and continuously improve the organisation's WHS Management System.
- Partner with operational leaders to build a proactive safety culture.
- Lead incident investigations, risk assessments and corrective actions.
- Develop and review WHS policies, procedures and safe systems of work.
- Monitor legislative compliance and coordinate internal and external audits.
- Deliver WHS reporting, coaching and training across the business.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across projects and operations.
We're looking for an experienced WHS professional who can influence stakeholders, build strong working relationships and provide practical safety leadership across dynamic project environments.
You may have experience in:
- Automation and warehouse solutions
- Logistics and distribution
- Manufacturing or industrial operations
- Construction or project delivery
- Engineering or infrastructure
- Materials handling or industrial services
- A qualification in Work Health and Safety (min. Dip) or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in a WHS leadership role within construction, manufacturing, logistics or industrial operations.
- Strong knowledge of Australian WHS legislation and safety management systems.
- Experience leading incident investigations, audits and risk management activities.
- Excellent communication, coaching and stakeholder engagement skills.
- The ability to work collaboratively with operational leaders while influencing positive safety outcomes.
- Aus Driver's licence and White card.
