You’ll join a well-established Australian food manufacturer with serious backing (part of a major national group), operating out of a modern, highly automated facility in Melbourne’s southeast. The site is fast-paced, high-volume and genuinely committed to improving how safety is done, not just ticking boxes.

What You’ll Be Doing You’ll be embedded in operations, partnering with leaders and teams to improve safety outcomes day-to-day:
  • Supporting and improving WHS systems, procedures and site compliance
  • Coaching leaders and frontline teams on practical safety behaviours
  • Leading incident investigations and driving meaningful corrective actions
  • Conducting risk assessments (JSAs, SWPS, permits) and improving controls
  • Assisting with audits, inspections and system improvements
  • Supporting contractor safety and site projects
  • Contributing to environmental and sustainability initiatives
  • Helping embed a strong safety culture across a busy manufacturing site
What You’ll Bring
  • 3+ years in a WHS/HSE role, ideally in manufacturing, logistics or similar
  • Solid experience in incident investigation and risk management
  • Exposure to WHS systems and audits
  • Certificate IV in WHS/OHS
  • Confidence to engage operators through to senior leaders
  • A practical, no-nonsense approach to safety
