WorkCover Claims Advisor – Contract

• Previous workers' compensation Agent experience is essential
• Contract period full time for 3 months
• Based in South Melbourne office with opportunity to work from home 2 days pw

Our client is a well established manufacturing company and self insurer. We are currently seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented WorkCover Claims Specialist to join their team:-

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:

• Manage a portfolio of claims end-to-endSetting up claims in Solv Injury
• Self-Insurance experience preferred but not essential
• Initiating payment of invoices
• Creating new vendors in their system
• Arranging IMEs and sending letters to workers and IMEs with relevant paperwork
• Requesting treater reports
• Addressing account enquiries
• Working out PIAWE and administering payroll
• Assisting with strategies depending on level of experience

Requirements:

• Previous Agent experience essential
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of relevant software programs and Microsoft Office
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Good understanding of workers rehabilitation and compensation legislation is desirable
